Diabetes and Carbohydrates

by

Hello Everyone!
Today I would like to talk to you about Diabetes and Carbohydrates! This can be a diabetics worst nightmare. Though most diabetics eat several of these babies daily, not even realizing it!

What I would like for each of you to do is look through your cabinets at home and glance at the nutrition labels on the backs of your packaged foods! You will be amazed at what things have high levels of carbohydrates and which don’t!

Most of us don’t really think to look at what we are really eating. There are many of us who 1. either buy what we can afford. 2. Buy what we know, what “Our mothers made”

Which wasn’t always the best selection. I am also suffering from the “what my momma made syndrome” This isn’t all bad, it is just that we know a little more about how food affects our body now.

Finding out what amount of carbohydrates is best for you should be priority in getting your sugar levels under control. Asking your physician or your nutritionalist will ensure the best outcome.

Making sure you are logging all your carbs will help them understand your readings better. That includes your beverages, snacks, as well as meals!
